Operation Encompass

Operation Encompass is the process used to inform or report to schools, prior to 9.00 a.m. the following school day, when the police have attended an incident in which a child or young person has been involved in or been exposed to an incident of domestic violence or abuse. The information is given to a trained ‘Named Adult’ within the school. The child can then be supported with silent or overt support.

There is a link to the Operation Encompass Website at the bottom of this page or you can speak to a Named Adult in school via the school office.

Please see policies page for further information and full safeguarding policies.
